Trinity College Beenleigh joins the global Catholic community in mourning the passing of Pope Francis, who died on April 21, 2025, at the age of 88. 

Francis was renowned for his humility, compassion, and unwavering commitment to social justice. His advocacy for the marginalized and emphasis on inclusivity deeply resonated with our college's Marist values and mission.​

Pope Francis once stated, "Educating is an act of love, it is like giving life," a sentiment that continues to inspire our dedication to nurturing students' spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth. His legacy challenges us to embody mercy, unity, and courage in our daily lives.

We offer our prayers for the repose of his soul and for the Church as it enters a period of reflection and transition.
